Reporting "Asre Bazar", The exhibition’s executive secretary, Yashar Forouhar, has said that the gathering is the most important financial event ever held in the country, as nearly 250 economic firms have so far registered with the exhibition.
“FINEX 2016 will display potentials of the Iranian capital market, as all brokerage firms, investment banks, financial consultancies, credit institutions, banks, insurance companies and the companies listed in the equity markets are to participate in the event,” Forouhar said.
Three seminars are set to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition focusing on exchange, banking and insurance issues.
“Foreign participants can enjoy the discussions raised in the seminars and get more familiar with the Iranian financial market,” he said.
The first seminar, which concentrates on Iran’s stock market, will be held July 11. The insurance seminar will also be held on the same day. The banking seminar is scheduled to be held July 12.
Forouhar said that the organizers’ efforts to highlight how to attract foreign investment to Iran are in line with a macro policy set in the sixth five-year economic development plan.
FINEX 2016 is to be held in the International Fairground in northern Tehran. Top financial officials, including Securities and Exchange Organization Chairman Dr. Mohammad Fetanat, will be among speakers.
On the sidelines of the event, a caricature festival will also be held on the capital market issues. The best cartoonists will be awarded during a ceremony, while 100 art works will also to be displayed in Hall 35 of the fairground.
